The Juno Evidence Alliance is a pioneering global platform at the forefront of transforming agriculture, food systems, and climate adaptation through evidence-based policy. Our mission is to fill the critical gap in the coordination and standardization of evidence-informed decision-making processes.

By harnessing the power of artificial intelligence and established scientific research methods, we expedite the synthesis of diverse data sources, delivering scientific and technical conclusions for governments, funders, and policymakers worldwide.

We bring together researchers, policy makers, publishers, computer and data scientists, and evidence advocates from across fields and disciplines to break down traditional boundaries between research production and use. 

Juno is co-founded by CABI, University of Notre Dame, and Havos.Ai, with support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) in the United Kingdom.

Andy Robinson

Founder

Managing Director of Publishing, CABI

Andy Robinson leads CABI’s Knowledge Business, which encompasses its commercial publishing and the knowledge & data management projects that support its international development work. CABI helps turn evidence-based information into actionable advice, with extensive databases, open access journals, books, compendia, knowledge banks and e-learning. Andy has more than 25 years of publishing experience.

Jaron Porciello

Founder

Associate Professor of the Practice, University of Notre Dame

Jaron Porciello is an information and data scientist who brings together technology and research methods to connect policy and science across a global food system. She has worked with agricultural research communities, publishers, UN agencies, donors & development groups across Sub-Saharan Africa for more than a decade to support the changing and complex sociotechnical environment of research, evidence, and data.
